My best friend
Yaoyao, my best friend, is my high school classmate. We were deskmates during grade one. She wore long hair, and she looked most beautiful when laughing.
Yaoyao , who is a girl of feeling, always takes much care of her family and friends. Her home was far from our school, so she had to live in school and go back home only once a week. She missed her family very much all the time. She would bring a small gift to her brother every time she went back. Sometimes the gift was just a small bag of cookies, however, she had never forgotten the gift.
And she would inspire me whenever I was upset. It was very kind of her to spend so much time on me, for, in that time, everyone was very busy with their study. Your heart will feel warm just by sitting by her side.
Yaoyao is a very talent girl. She loves reading, especially foreign short stories, by a very young age. She does very well in writing and deeply thinking due to a large quantity of reading. She had written her own short stories when she studied in grade one. The language of her short stories is in her own style. There is deep thinking in the stories, too. When she completed one, I always would be the firstreader.
Now she is studying in a college that is far from here. I miss her very much.

When you need help, they will stand beside you and be delighted to give you a hand. Also you can share your happiness and sorrow together. In my opinion, friends can share something but they also should keep their own secrets. So I wish my friends wouldn't interfere in my privacy too much. On the other hand, my friends should have Something in common with me, at the same time something special. In this way we can attract each other and learn from each other.

Convenience friends really are convenient. They will lend you small things you need or give you a ride if you need one.
Another kind of friend is a special-interest friend. These are friends who share an interest with you. You might play tennis once a week with a special-interest friend, or go shopping, or go to the theater. We usually don't get too close to convenience friends or special-interest friends. We don't tell them too much about ourselves. But that doesn't mean they aren't important in our lives. And many times these relationships grow into strong friendships.
Did you have a good friend when you were growing up? Maybe you don't see this friend often, but he or she is still an important part of your past. You might not have much in common now, but a childhood friend can put you in touch with an earlier part of yourself. Childhood friends often become life-long friends. "I only talk to Bill every two years, or so, but he's still very special to me," says Tom. "He knows things about me that no one else knows. And he knows the people from my childhood. He knew my grandfather. He remembers eating my Aunt Betty's pies. He is, in a way, like a brother."
Another interesting kind of friend is a friend who is much older or younger than you are. It can be a pleasure for the older person to share lessons learned from past experiences. The younger friend enjoys talking to an older person who is not a parent. Janie's friend is sixty-seven years old. "She is older than my mother, but I can talk to her about life," Janie says. "I tell her things that I wouldn't tell my mom."
Then there are friends of the opposite sex. Many men and women become close friends. "Lynn is a great friend," says Rick. "We have a lot in common, and she can always make me laugh. We really care for each other." Lynn says, "I hate it when people ask if we are just friends. We both date other people. That doesn't have anything to do with our friendship."
Finally, there are best friends. Best friends are special people. They will come running to help you when you need them. You can tell them your deepest secrets and they will always love and support you. Best friends are the rarest kind of friend. They will always be there for you, no matter what happens. And you will always be there for them. That's a rare thing, indeed.
